Complete Mailing Service is proud to present:

CMS'  Digimaster  9110!

Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 The result of almost three years of CMS research has finally arrived.  The CMS Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 Network Imaging System (a joint venture between Kodak, Danka, EFI, and Heidelberg) was acquired to allow Complete Mailing Service to produce high-quality, high-value printed documents quickly and efficiently. Whether it is a postcard, a form letter, a legal-sized document, a tabloid or newsletter, or a specialty-size piece, CMS can now provide the highest quality digital output quickly, efficiently, and at a great price.

The SuperMachine

Heidelberg Digimaster 9110

It's a bird!  It's a plane!
CMS utilizes the Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 System as a duplicator, printer, duplicator/printer and as an ultra-high speed laser printer.  Fine details, outstanding halftones, and rich, dense solids make customer documents look their best, thanks to Heidelberg's advanced imaging and toning processes.

Faster than a speeding bullet!
This system will print continuously at 110 impressions per minute whether it is a generic document, or a specialized mail merge form.  Each drawer is vacuum fed allowing for greater flexibility in paper stock handling.  The advanced print engine also eliminates many problems associated with traditional laser processes, such as toner flaking and smearing.

Able to leap tall buildings ...
A familiar Web-based interface allows the CMS staff to print to, and monitor projects from any workstation in the building.  Workflow is facilitated by a high-speed RIP and a job spooler that can hold up to 10,000 pages to keep the print engine working.  It's also easy to capture and manage legacy documents using the high-speed scanner and software that allows image editing down to the page level.

Applications

The CMS Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 System accepts print jobs via the in-house network, stored document files, scanned hardcopy, and from data print streams (SYSOUT), so it can meet the needs of a broad range of printing applications.

Send us your tired, your Postscript, your .PDF documents:

Heidelberg Digimaster 9110
The advanced scan station allows CMS to duplicate hardcopy and assemble digital documents by performing cut and paste editing at the page level.
  • The 9110 is ideal for on-demand printing of frequently revised or updated publications, such as manuals, documentation, and policy booklets.
  • High-speed processing and inline document assembly enable the CMS Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 System to handle variable data input printing of one-of-a-kind documents, such as client-specific benefit booklets,  financial reports, and form letters.
  • CMS can quickly and easily handle hardcopy output, .PS (PostScript) files, .PDF (Acrobat) files, and almost every application document format available.
  • All major operating systems and graphic formats are supported, as well.
  • Customers can e-mail or FTP their documents to CMS.  Zip disks, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, and even reel-to-reel 9-track magnetic tapes are a part of the advanced (they speak legacy and cutting edge) data conversion department's capabilities.

Why ?

Complete Mailing Service has been providing digital printing and copy services for almost ten years.  The goal in the last three years was to find a product that was designed for a high-speed production environment that would surmount the shortcomings found in all the other products on the market.  This digital copier/printer needed to be superior in every way to the equipment already in service at CMS, as well as other local copy service centers.

CMS has discovered in the Digimaster 9110 a product uniquely poised to succeed in a high volume, high speed mailing service and copy center.  Instead of augmenting Complete Mailing Service's existing services, the CMS 9110 has expanded upon, and superceded them in almost every way.  The equipment used prior to the arrival of the 9110 now serves as backup, load balancers, and complement the CMS Digimaster quite nicely.

The name Heidelberg carries with it a long history of quality in printing and the Digimaster 9110 continues that tradition at Complete Mailing Service.  Put it to the test, at CMS.  Call for a free price quote: (831) 425-5556.
